Vesutan ace Masatoshi Sakai solidified his place in league history with his 250th career victory today at Fukuoka Stadium. Sakai and the Bees bested Fukuoka 3-1. He checked the Falcons on 7 hits in 8.1 innings and finished the day with 8 strikeouts and 1 walk.

"I've worked hard for this day," Sakai said. "Sometimes I didn't think it would happen. Most of the time it seemed so far off. Now it's here. It's like a dream!"
