| Falcons Absorb 4-1 Loss at Matsunoki Stadium | It might have been a rain-shorted game, but the hometown crowd didn't seem to mind.
Kobe Bulls pitcher Bill O'Grady was in fine form, leading his team past the Fukuoka Falcons, 4-1. At 31-32, the Bulls are currently 4th in the Western League.
Chikato Kawano had a big 3-run home run for the Bulls in the bottom of the first inning. With Kobe leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a fastball from Minoru Yamamoto, who is tied for 5th in the WL in innings pitched with 106.2, and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Bulls on top, 4-0.
"I was just trying to execute one pitch at a time," said O'Grady.
