| Muraoka Gives Nagasaki Goose Eggs | Isaburo Muraoka of the Fukuoka Falcons was masterful, pitching a 3-hit shutout, 3-0, against the Nagasaki Stars.
By going the distance, he was at the same time able to give his bullpen a rest, a fact appreciated by Fukuoka manager Kamlyn Kadota.
"It's nice to have someone who can do that from time to time," he said. "He had command of every ball and every pitch. Great location, too."
Muraoka had 5 strikeouts and 1 walk in the outing.
