Nagasaki Beats Fukuoka, 4-2 | Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Nagasaki Stars and Fukuoka Falcons.
The Nagasaki Stars beat the Fukuoka Falcons by a score of 4-2. Nagasaki right fielder Hirotsugu Araki deserved the lion's share of the credit. Araki was 1 for 3 with a walk, while adding 3 RBI for the Stars. Nagasaki reliever Toshio Iwamoto was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Katsunari Ishiguro took the loss. Masato Yamamoto picked up the save for Nagasaki, his 11th of the year.
The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth when Araki hit a 2-run single. It thrust the Stars into the lead, 3-1.
Araki called the triumph "a good team win."
