| Kinboshi Wins, 3-2, Over Falcons | The Kinboshi Kites had to overcome a good performance from Fukuoka pitcher Isaburo Muraoka to claim a 3-2 win at Fukuoka Stadium. Muraoka went 8 innings and allowed 2 runs. With the win, Kinboshi upped its record to 29-29.
Korenaga Kurosawa came through with a big-time hit for Kinboshi. The catcher smacked a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Fukuoka manager Kamlyn Kadota.
