The home crowd had a good time watching the Fukuoka Falcons and Vesutan Bees get after it.

A 3-RBI performance from catcher Akinari Nakamura led the Vesutan Bees to a win over the Fukuoka Falcons, 9-5. Hank Walker earned the win to go to 4-5. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, with 4 walks and 7 strikeouts in 6 innings of work.

Yuuichirou Isobe had a big 2-run double for the Bees in the bottom of the second inning. With Vesutan leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from Minoru Yamamoto, who led the WL in wins with 16 in 1955, and swatted a double to left. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bees ahead, 4-0.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Nakamura.

Vesutan currently is in 5th place in the Western League at 24-32.
