| Fukuoka Drops Another One, 4-2 | The Kobe Bulls got a stellar effort from pitcher Kakuya Izumi, helping Kobe score a win over the visiting Fukuoka Falcons, 4-2. The losses continue to pile up for Fukuoka, which has now fallen 10 times in a row.
The Bulls got a big at-bat from left fielder Tango Kurokawa. For the game, Kurokawa was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 9th home run of the season gave Kobe a 2-0 lead.
"Thought I threw pretty well and overall I felt good," said Izumi.
