| Falcons Notch 8-7 Win Versus Bees | The Fukuoka Falcons outlasted Susumu Ishii and the Vesutan Bees, 8-7. Ishii was impressive in the loss. The Vesutan left fielder was 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. The Falcons improved their record to 26-23 with the win over Vesutan.
Shunji Yamanaka had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the fifth for Fukuoka. With the bases loaded and the Falcons leading 6-5, he hit a sacrifice fly.
