| Fukuoka Dealt 3-2 Defeat | In a low-scoring affair between the Kobe Bulls and the Fukuoka Falcons, pitcher Arata Komatsu was the difference between victory and defeat. The Kobe right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Bulls win. The win makes Kobe 38-17.
Kobe used a well-timed hit by Jouta Hayashida to capture the win. The center fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Bulls ahead, 3-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"I like the roll we're on right now," said Komatsu after the game.
