The Kobe Bulls met little resistance from the Vesutan Bees, beating them, 11-2, at Matsunoki Stadium. Jouta Hayashida led the way. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice for Kobe. Kobe pitcher Tatsuharu Oto earned the win, hiking his record to 9-2. Masatoshi Sakai suffered the loss. At 35-17, the Bulls are currently first in the Western League.

In the bottom of the first, Hayashida had a grand slam home run for Kobe. It was his 18th home run of the season and put the Bulls on top, 4-0.

Vesutan manager Jack Fletchings called the blowout loss "just something that happens from time to time."
