| Bulls Lose, 5-1, at Nagasaki Prefecture Stadium | Though the conditions were not ideal, the Nagasaki Stars and Kobe Bulls came back from a rain delay to finish their game.
Nagasaki Stars starter Roku Yamakawa was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Kobe Bulls, 5-1. The winning pitcher was Yamakawa, now 3-6. He tossed 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 6.
Binya Nishi, who is tied for 4th in the WL with a .906 OPS, contributed to the Nagasaki win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the shortstop had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Yamakawa.
The 5th-place Stars now have a win-loss record of 22-24.
