| Sailors Drop Close One Late | Kobe turned a good effort from starter Tatsuharu Oto into a win over the Osaka Sailors at Kotei Stadium. The final score was 3-2. The first-place Bulls have won 4 in a row.
Kobe used a timely hit from Oscar Abbott to get the win. The right fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bulls ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"We'll try to build on that win," Oto told the Kobe Gazette. | |
