| Bulls Net 9-3 Win | Nagasaki center fielder Ryunosuke Kodama had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Kodama was 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs, even as Kobe beat the Stars, 9-3. The first-place Bulls go to 30-15.
Kouyuu Kira helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to give Kobe a 2-0 lead.
"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Kira told the Kobe Times.
