| Stars Prevail, 5-3, Over Osaka | Nagasaki parlayed a decent outing from starter Roku Yamakawa into a solid win over the Osaka Sailors. The final score was 5-3. Masato Yamamoto notched his 9th save of the season. The Nagasaki win streak is now 3 games.
The Stars got a big at-bat from right fielder Tokita Oishi. For the game, Oishi went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Nagasaki a 5-2 lead.
