| Bulls Suffer One-Run Loss at Vesutan | Vesutan Bees starter Kiichi Takahashi pitched well against the Kobe Bulls at Fukuoka Stadium, leading his team to a win, 5-4. Getting the save was Haruki Ogawa, his 5th. The Bees go to 11-19 with the win.
The Bees got a big at-bat from second baseman Hidero Fujioka. For the game, Fujioka was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Vesutan a 2-0 lead.
"Both teams played hard," said Vesutan manager Jim Harper.
