Late Rally by Falcons Secures 8-2 Win | Fukuoka got a strong outing from Sadakazu Minami as the Falcons defeated the Nagasaki Stars, 8-2, at Nagasaki Prefecture Stadium. Minami, the winner, moves to 3-1. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 3 walks. With the win, the Falcons hiked their record to 17-10.
Kamiichi, Japan-born Jotaro Murakami came through in the clutch. In the top of the eighth, with the bases loaded and the Falcons trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run single to right to put Fukuoka on top.
