Stars Earn Win with Late Rally
The Nagasaki Stars topped the Kobe Bulls by a score of 6-5. Leading the way was center fielder Ryunosuke Kodama. Kodama went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Stars. Tetsushi Kondo earned the save, his 7th. The win puts Nagasaki at 18-12 this season.

Kodama had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 2-0 sinker from Shinya Kawakami, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Stars a 6-5 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Kodama.

Kodama told reporters after the game: "All's well that ends well."
