| Sailors Beat Bulls, 2-1 | In a well-pitched game between the Osaka Sailors and the Kobe Bulls, pitcher Marty Carroll was fantastic. The Osaka right-hander helped his team secure the win, 2-1. Osaka is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 6th win in 27 games.
With Osaka leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Sotatsu Sato hit a run-scoring single off Kobe pitcher Arata Komatsu. It put the Sailors ahead 2-0.
"Tough loss," said Kobe manager Shojiro Tasaka. "But that's how the cookie crumbles." | |
