| Bees Topple Falcons, 7-0 | Vesutan pitcher Hank Walker had a large part in his team subduing the Fukuoka Falcons, 7-0. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Walker got the win, improving to 3-3. He gave up 5 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. He allowed no runs. With the win, Vesutan elevates its record to 13-15.
With Vesutan leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Kazuo Kawano hit a 2-run single off Fukuoka pitcher Sadakuno Ikeda. It put the Bees ahead 4-0.
"We understand we didn't play our best baseball," said losing manager Kamlyn Kadota. "We'll shower it off and be ready to compete."
