| Bees Hang 3-1 Loss on Falcons | Enthusiastic fans came out to support the home team at Fukuoka Stadium.
The Vesutan Bees had to overcome a fine effort from Fukuoka pitcher Katsunari Ishiguro to win, 3-1, at Fukuoka Stadium. Ishiguro went 7 innings and allowed 3 runs. Kiichi Takahashi earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 4 innings. He upped his record to 3-0. Picking up the save was Haruki Ogawa, his 6th.
Vesutan took the lead, 3-1, on Kiyohiro Aoyagi's 4th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Fukuoka pitcher Katsunari Ishiguro in the top of the seventh.
"It's good to win," Aoyagi told the Vesutan News. "I like to have fun doing it."
After today's action, Vesutan sits at 23-20; Fukuoka slips to 25-23.
