The game between Kobe and Vesutan is in the books, despite a little rain.

Kobe turned a good effort from starter Shiroku Terada into a win over the Vesutan Bees at Matsunoki Stadium. The Bulls won the game, 2-1. The Bees are now 6-11.

Kobe left fielder Shinpei Abe contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a curveball to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 29th hit of the season and put the Bulls ahead, 1-0.

"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Abe told the Kobe Daily.
