| Stars Top Falcons, 7-5 | The Nagasaki Stars overcame a pretty good performance by Fukuoka first baseman Yasuhiko Kawasaki, beating the Falcons, 7-5, at Fukuoka Stadium. Kawasaki hit 3 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring three times. Nagasaki pitcher Togai Ota earned the win, hiking his record to 2-0. Tsugunosuke Ohashi suffered the loss. So far, the 1975 season has been disappointing for Fukuoka, now 7-12.
Nagasaki needed the clutch hitting of Satoru Yamaguchi to seal the deal. The catcher swatted a solo home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Stars on top, 5-4. For the game, Yamaguchi had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Yamaguchi.
