| Down Goes Kobe, 4-3 | Kotei Stadium was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Osaka Sailors and Kobe Bulls.
The Osaka Sailors beat the Kobe Bulls, 4-3, in part because of second baseman Jiro Koda. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. Matsu Nakamoto got the save, the 2nd for him this season.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the eighth, with the game tied, Ryuji Tamura was at the plate when Osaka scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Sailors to go in front, 4-3.
Said Osaka manager Bill Sherrill: "At the end of the day, these guys have to perform between the lines, and I think they did."
The Bulls fall to 9-11 and continue their lackluster start in 1975.
