| Hayashida Hits 2 home runs in Bulls Win | The rain came, as predicted, but the Kobe Bulls and Kinboshi Kites were able to complete their ballgame.
The Kobe Bulls defeated the Kinboshi Kites by the score of 8-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to center fielder Jouta Hayashida. Hayashida was 3-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Bulls on the day. Norm Evans came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 5 innings. His record now stands at 1-0.
Kouyuu Kira helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 3-0, Bulls.
Said losing manager Frank Moore: "At the end of the day, we've got to play better."
The loss makes Kinboshi 6-10.
