5 Straight Wins for Bees
The Vesutan Bees picked up a win at Fukuoka Stadium, knocking off the Fukuoka Falcons, 5-2. Starting pitcher Niou Nagao was a big reason why. Nagao got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 7 hits and walked 2 over 8 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Kiyoshi Inouye finished to wrap up his 4th save.

Vesutan used a timely hit from Ikku Kawase to get the win. The center fielder stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bees ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a difference-maker.

"Niou works, he fights, and he keeps a good attitude," said Bees manager Jack Fletchings.

Vesutan is now 7-6.
