Saimei Hayashida pitched well, but the Kinboshi Kites still lost the game, falling, 4-2, to the Nagasaki Stars at Konohana Stadium. The win was credited to Yutaka Kameda in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Saimei Hayashida took the loss. Tetsushi Kondo sewed up the save, his 4th.

Nagasaki used the timely hitting of Kodai Takamatsu to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Stars on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

Kinboshi manager Frank Moore said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.

The Kites fall to 4-7 and continue their rocky start to the 1975 season.
