| Stars Win, 4-3, at Kinboshi | The Nagasaki Stars picked up a win at Konohana Stadium, taking down the Kinboshi Kites, 4-3. Starting pitcher Tatsuki Goto was a big reason why. Masato Yamamoto collected save number 2. With the loss, Kinboshi falls to 5-4.
Yukiya Sakai aided the Nagasaki cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman went 1 for 3.
"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Goto. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
