| Sailors Edge Past Kites, 1-0 | Wei-Tzu Otsuki pitched a gem in leading Osaka to a 1-0 victory over the Kinboshi Kites. With the win, Osaka improves its record to 3-2.
The Sailors got a clutch hit from first baseman Tomohito Takahashi. In the bottom of the ninth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Sailors.
"This wasn't a good win," said Takahashi. "It was a great win."
