| Osaka Sent Home with 8-3 Loss | The home crowd had a good time watching the Osaka Sailors and Kobe Bulls get after it.
The Kobe Bulls had to overcome a big game from Osaka center fielder Masahiko Yamamoto to leave Matsunoki Stadium with a victory. And they did, winning, 8-3. Yamamoto was 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. With the loss, Osaka drops to 2-2.
The Bulls had to work out of trouble in the top of the seventh. The score was 7-3, Kobe, with two out. Osaka, with the bases loaded, was mounting a threat. Jiro Koda dug in at the plate, but on a 1-2 sinker, he struck out.
