| Rams Get Hard-Earned Win | Rakisuta Stadium was host to some intense drama.
The Rakisuta Rams took Denki pitcher Herm Brooks's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Rakisuta Stadium. The final score had Rakisuta getting past the Dynamics, 3-2. Brooks went 8 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 3. Gunji Matsuda, now 5-6, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2 innings.
Rakisuta got a knockout punch from Yugoro Ishihara. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"I'm proud to be a part of what we've got going on here," Ishihara told the Rakisuta Citizen. "It's a great group and we're happy with the win."
By defeating Denki, the 4th-place Rams improved to 65-71.
