| Denki Topples Kyoto, 4-3 | A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Denki Dynamics and Kyoto Owls.
The Denki Dynamics racked up a win at Owls Park, bumping off the Kyoto Owls, 4-3. Yoshitsune Nakamura, who started for Denki, pitched effectively for his team. In 8 innings, Nakamura surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. He allowed 3 runs. Hoshi Kobayashi converted his 2nd save in 3 tries.
Denki took advantage of an error in the top of the seventh inning. The game was tied, 2-2, when Eishin Yoshimura hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Dynamics in front, 3-2.
Denki manager Tadashi Iwamoto was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard," he said.
Denki is now 40-76, while Kyoto is 60-60.
