| Denki Mettle Tested in Tight 8-7 Win | The Denki Dynamics finished things off in style.
Denki left fielder Ikuo Muramoto picked up 4 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Yokohama Kingfishers, 8-7. Denki reliever Yoshiharu Miyagi picked up the win to move to 5-2. Masaru Ryu suffered the loss.
The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Denki trailing 7-5, Muramoto jumped on a fastball from 32-year old right-handed pitcher Masaru Ryu and hit a 3-run home run to right-center. With one swing, the Dynamics had a walk-off win.
"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Muramoto said.
The losing streak for Yokohama has now reached 4 games.
