Reliables Win with Late Rally
The Hosho Reliables topped the Rakisuta Rams by a score of 7-6 in 11 innings. Leading the way was third baseman Daijiro Nakamura. Nakamura went 2-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Reliables. The win gives Hosho a season record of 83-44.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With two out, Nakamura hit a fastball from Koji Fujimoto for a run-scoring single. The Reliables, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It was a test of wills," said Shun Kawamura, the Hosho skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."
