| Rams Topple Kingfishers, 4-0 | The rain came, as predicted, but the Rakisuta Rams and Yokohama Kingfishers were able to complete their ballgame.
Masakado Matsuda, who is on pace to win 15 games this season, was locked in. The left-hander led the Rakisuta Rams to a 4-0 win against the Yokohama Kingfishers at Kanagawa Stadium. The third-place Rams now sit at 59-50.
Rakisuta third baseman Kihachi Harada helped his team get ahead early. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly.
"When Masakado is on, he can really move the ball around," said Rakisuta manager Bob Lester.
