| Rams Squeeze By Denki, 3-2 | Rakisuta turned a fine outing from starter Masakado Matsuda into a victory over the Denki Dynamics at Rakisuta Stadium. The final score was 3-2. The winner was Kiyoshige Abe in relief. His record improves to 2-3. Masahiro Akiyama took the loss. With the win, Rakisuta upped its record to 60-49.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Rakisuta center fielder Kiichiro Mitsui, facing Masahiro Akiyama, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Rams the 3-2 win.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Rakisuta manager Bob Lester.
