| Reliables Win at Home, 3-1 | The Hosho Reliables and Denki Dynamics played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.
Hosho pitcher Naruto Noda had a large part in his team subduing the Denki Dynamics, 3-1. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Noda, the winner, moves to 11-7. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 2 and giving up no walks. Motomu Taira nailed down his 16th save.
Rkuemon Endo had a big hit for Hosho in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Hosho leading 1-0, Endo hit a solo home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Reliables up, 2-0.
"Naruto's as tough as he is talented," said Hosho manager Shun Kawamura.
The Reliables have an impressive 72-45 record.
