| Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Dynamics | Starting pitcher Yoshimatsu Shiina gave the Denki Dynamics a rock-solid effort. The Yawatahama, Japan native helped his team defeat the Kyoto Owls, 2-1, at Kanda Stadium. Tsunemori Takanezawa, now 3-5, was credited with the win in 0.2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 0 and walking 1. The last-place Dynamics sport a record of 33-69.
Seisuke Kamo was the walk-off hero for Denki. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dynamics center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"This place went bananas," Kamo said.
