| Kingfishers Bridle Dynamics, 4-3 | Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Yokohama Kingfishers and Denki Dynamics.
Kinzo Yoshimura, who led the EL in innings pitched with 323.2 in 1951, was locked in. The right-hander led the Yokohama Kingfishers to a 4-3 win against the Denki Dynamics at Kanagawa Stadium. Katsusaburo Yagi earned his 2nd save in 3 tries.
The Kingfishers got a big at-bat from first baseman Tsuguto Nakamura. For the game, Nakamura was 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Yokohama a 3-2 lead.
"We had the game right there for the taking," said Denki manager Harlan Kowatch. "But we decided not to take it."
Yokohama has run its win streak to 5 in a row.
