Though the conditions were not ideal, the Denki Dynamics and Yokohama Kingfishers came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

Kenji Ihara was a major contributor to the 6-2 Denki win over Yokohama. The Dynamics catcher went 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Denki reliever Spider Munson picked up the win, raising his record to 4-0. Munenao Shintani was tagged with the loss.

Ihara made an early impact for Denki when he stroked his 11th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came in the top of the third, put the Dynamics on top, 3-0.

"They played a better game than we did," said Yokohama skipper Masayoshi Nozawa.

Denki now owns a record of 59-52.
