| Takahashi Helps Denki Cruise to 11-3 Win | Satoshi Takahashi, who finished 5th in the EL in hits with 146 in 1957, knocked in 5 runs to help the Denki Dynamics win, 11-3, over the Yokohama Kingfishers. Denki starter Yoshitsune Nakamura was credited with the win after throwing 107 pitches over 6.2 innings. His record now stands at 6-5. The win puts Denki at 40-61.
With Denki leading 3-0 in the top of the fourth, Takahashi hit a curveball from Shigeyasu Hirayama for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Dynamics ahead, 6-0.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Takahashi.
