Kyoto rode a decent outing from starter Dan Rivard to victory over the Sapporo Bears. The final score was 6-3. Rivard got the win, improving to 11-11. He allowed 7 hits and walked 4 over 9 innings. Rivard allowed 3 runs. The Eastern League-leading Owls have a record of 51-42.
