| Rams Shut Out Dynamics, 3-0 | Not everyone stuck through the 66-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.
The timely hitting of Takanori Matsui helped the Rakisuta Rams down the Denki Dynamics, 3-0. Matsui was 2-2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Rams. Morihiro Arakaki got the win, improving to 9-9. He held the Dynamics to no runs on 2 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 0. Kiyoshige Abe picked up the save, his 2nd.
Making an impact for the home team was Kihachi Harada. In the bottom of the fifth, the 26-year old third baseman had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. That made the score 2-0, Rams.
Matsui called the win "a collective effort."
With the win over Denki, the Rams improved to 40-45.
