Rakisuta shortstop Hideharu Nomura was instrumental in helping the Rams triumph, 4-2, over the Denki Dynamics. Nomura was 3-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. Yoshimatsu Shiina wrapped it up, recording his 6th save. The Rams improved to 52-53.

In the top of the ninth, Jin Kaji stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Dynamics were trailing 4-2, but had the bases loaded. That's when Yoshimatsu Shiina made a terrific pitch and Kaji grounded out. Gone was the dream of a Denki comeback.
