The Denki Dynamics beat the Yokohama Kingfishers, 4-3, in 10 innings. Denki pitcher and Tokyo, Japan, native Tekkan Mihara led the way. The triumph puts Denki at 55-45 for the season.

The Dynamics got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Hiroji Yokota. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Dynamics.

When asked about his performance after the game, Yokota said: "Like everyone else, I'm just doing my job."
