With first baseman Yugoro Ishihara leading the charge, the Rakisuta Rams defeated the Hosho Reliables, 9-2, at Nagoya Minami Stadium. Ishihara, who is tied for 8th in the EL with a .293 batting average, went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The 4th-place Rams lifted their record to 47-48.

In the first inning, Ishihara had a 3-run home run for Rakisuta. It was his 16th home run of the season and put the Rams on top, 3-0.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Ishihara.
