| Kingfishers Lose to Rams in Walk-Off | The Rakisuta Rams picked up a win at Rakisuta Stadium, downing the Yokohama Kingfishers, 4-3. On the mound for Rakisuta was left-hander Kinya Wada, who played a pivotal role in the win. The winner was Yoshimatsu Shiina in relief. His record improves to 7-3. Masaru Ryu took the loss. Rakisuta is now 47-48, while Yokohama is 37-57.
Kuranosuke Imakake was the walk-off hero for Rakisuta. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rams catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Wada.
