| Rakisuta Loss Tarnishes Fine Game by Yagi | Rakisuta left fielder Go Yagi had a good game, even if his team did not. The Rams dropped a 6-4 decision to Yokohama at Rakisuta Stadium. Yagi hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Yokohama is now 37-55, Rakisuta 45-48.
Yokohama used a well-timed hit by Teruo Kamiya to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Kingfishers ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Kamiya told a Yokohama Daily News reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
