| Bears Done In By Dynamics, 2-1 | The Denki Dynamics picked up a win at Kanda Stadium, taking down the Sapporo Bears, 2-1. Starting pitcher Takehiro Moriyama was a big reason why. Moriyama yielded 1 run over 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 9-5. Denki now sports a record of 50-43.
With scoring opportunities rare, the Dynamics had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the third, when shortstop Shigeru Ishida hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Yamada Yamanaka and made the score 2-0, Dynamics. Ishida was 1 for 4.
