With Rakisuta leading 4-0 in the bottom of the sixth, Onishi came up to bat against Sapporo pitcher Katsumasa Hashimoto. Onishi hit a fastball to right-center for a 2-run home run. His 12th home run of the season put the Rams on top, 6-0.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Onishi. "And not try to do too much."
