| Saito Delivers 3-1 Win | Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Hosho Reliables and Sapporo Bears.
Shihei Saito pitched a gem to lead Hosho to victory over the Sapporo Bears, 3-1. The Reliables raised their record to 52-32.
Saito was the winner. He's now 7-6, after putting the Sapporo offense in a vise grip. Over 8 innings, he gave up 1 run on 3 hits, while racking up 5 Ks.
